Frequently Asked Questions

Question: What makes you different from other local photographers? Why should I choose your studio?
Answer: Glamour, Pinup and Boudoir style photography is a what we do!  We understand the concerns women have when they decide to select these type of portraits.  Women want to feel safe, comfortable and beautiful!  We always work with our client to make her feel at ease while in our studio or at her location.  We inquire about the intended uses for the portraits and direct the portrait session toward achieving those results.
Question: How quickly will I receive my prints or products?
Answer: Typically you'll view your images in person at our studio about a week after your photo session.  You'll also have access to your proofs immediately following your in person viewing, by way of an online, password protected gallery.  Once you place your portrait or product order, prints are normally in your hands in around three to four weeks. Albums usually take around four weeks to produce and deliver.  Glamour and Boudoir photography requires a high level, of time intensive, processing.  Please factor these time frames into your planning and scheduling purposes.  Rush service may be available depending on the time of year.
Question: How many pictures will you take? Can I provide a list of posed photos for you to take?
Answer: The typical Glamour or Boudoir session lasts about 1 hour.   Most clients can work in up to three different wardrobe changes or looks.  We encourage clients to share any looks with us that they like as it will give us more insight into the mood they would like to portray.

Question: How far are you willing to travel? Is there a travel charge?
Answer: We can photograph you in your environment, our studio, or any other location.  Our standard rate includes travel one way within a  thirty minute radius from our studio.
Question: Can I request that both color and black & white photography be used?
Answer: Yes.  We can also provide selective color or muted color images.
Question: Can I keep the negatives? What about the proof images? Is there an extra charge for this service? How much?
Answer: Digital proofs are part of every portrait session. An reprint released use flash drive of images (the digital negatives) is also available.
Question: What new ideas have you implemented in the last couple years? Are you current with latest trends?
Answer: Many clients love the awesome display albums that we offer. These are hardbound books with the images printed directly on the pages. These are printed books, just like one would purchase at a bookstore, except they tell the story of you! These are a must have.  Once you see one, there is a good chance you'll want one.
Pinup imagery is also becoming in high demand.  These are recreations of the types of images popular during the 1940's and 1950's.  This type of imagery can be part of your package as well if you choose.

We keep an eye on modern trends and what is popular.  We can produce the look you desire.
Question: What is included in your basic glamour/boudoir packages?
Answer: We offer several different packages. Basic packages include the portrait session and view-able images on computer media.  Other packages include prints, albums and slide shows.  You decide how you want your images displayed.  We have many different options available to give you what you want, while staying within your budget.
